Bye Bye Pores Blush
I swatched the blush and was immediately impressed. For only $1.25, the cream appeared to be pigmented, smooth, and easy to blend. Best cream blush I recently purchased the cream blush in the shade Blossom. I am really enjoying my purchase thus far. It is very creamy, blends well, and a little goes a very long way. The shade looks very natural and gives a healthy glow. I use a blush brush to apply, tapping it very gently in the pan and then sweeping it onto my cheeks. Do not go in with a heavy-hand, or you will not like the look. It wears off evenly (does not get blotchy) throughout the day. The formula is great, especially for the winter when my skin gets dry very easily. I like that you can purchase a refill without repurchasing the entire plastic container as well.

Blush Powder in Obsess, Vapour ($32) Best Cream (or Liquid) Blushes (2022) One user loves it and shares how it is one of the best blush for mature skin, “I am new to cream blush and this product seemed accessibly priced for me to try out. So far I am enjoying it because it does brighten up my face a lot without the chalkiness of powder blush. I have dry skin and this sits well on BB cream or sans makeup.”

Where you put your blush on your face really does matter. In most cases, the product should be centered, starting next to your ear and sweeping forward towards the apples of your cheeks. Blending too high, low, or close to your nose can risk looking ruddy. Going too low can also make you look older. Focus blush on the sides of the face and blend inwards, as this can help create a natural-looking flush. Difference Between Cream and Powder Blush Creme Cheek Blush in Peony, Honest Beauty ($12.99)

If you want a more affordable dupe for Fenty’s high-pigment blush, Rodriguez recommends e.l.f. Putty Blush in the shade Bahamas, which they describe as a “less intense, more wearable Fuego Flush.” They also like to blend the Fenty and e.l.f. blushes, to create a bespoke shade. “I love mixing Tahiti with Fenty’s Fuego Flush or Daiquiri Dip,” they say. “I place it on the inner cheek and it adds a really sweet, almost romantic pink.” Makeup artist Jaleesa Jaikran is also a fan and likes the shade Turks and Caicos. “I love the payoff,” she says. “A little goes a long way.” SHOP Different blush formulas yield different results. Whatever you do, don’t mix cream on top of powder or powder on top of cream—it won’t blend well and will likely look streaky.
